Description
If you’ve just come across Raga-Jazz Style by Shankar Jaikishan and Rais Khan, you’re discovering a rare blend of Indian classical music and jazz from 1968. This album features sitar maestro Rais Khan and a jazz ensemble, creating a unique fusion where traditional Indian ragas meet swinging jazz rhythms. Originally released during a time when such cross-genre experiments were uncommon, it has since been reissued, allowing new listeners to experience this innovative musical collaboration
