RON CARTER Empire Jazz (1980 Japanese sample 5-track vinyl LP with custom promotional white RSO labels, key selections from John Williams’ Star Wars soundtracks are given a superb jazz makeover by Ron Carter supported by a crack team of players including Bob James, Billy Cobham, Ralph Macdonald, Hubert Laws and more, housed in a ‘must-see’ heavyweight sleeve depicting Darth Vadar watching C3PO, R2D2 and a Stormtrooper play on stage with Japanese insert and obi-strip.
