A cover or sleeve will have seam splits, especially at the bottom or on the spine. Tape, writing, ring wear, or other defects will be present.

Cover Condition: Poor (P) – The cover is heavily damaged and barely intact. It may have major seam splits, large tears, or sections entirely missing. Tape repairs, if present, are poorly done, and the cover may have suffered from exposure to mold or other significant environmental damage. This grade indicates a cover that has little to no visual or structural integrity remaining and is primarily of interest for archival purposes or as a placeholde
