KASABIAN Kasabian (2026 UK/EU limited edition 14-track double album 2-LP pressed on classic Black Vinyl. Originally released in 2004, Kasabian introduced a band operating just outside the prevailing indie template, combining loop-driven electronics, distorted guitar lines, and a deliberately blunt rhythmic approach. The album’s sound draws as much from dance and hip-hop production as it does from rock, giving tracks like “Club Foot” and “L.S.F. (Lost Souls Forever)” their distinctive, physical momentum. The record is the only Kasabian album to fully feature lead guitarist and principal songwriter Christopher Karloff, whose writing and studio approach shaped much of its abrasive, low-slung character. Recorded with multiple drummers before Ian Matthews joined the band full-time, the album feels modular and slightly unstable in structure, which only adds to its tension and drive. Charting at number 4 in the UK, Kasabian laid out the band’s foundations without smoothing the edges, remaining a sharp and focused debut that still stands apart within their catalogue.
