HEARTS AND ROCKETS Dead Beats (2018 Australian 13-track vinyl LP, an intriguing and increasingly scarce release from the cult underground outfit, issued as a hand-cut lathe edition, making each copy subtly unique and highly sought after by collectors of experimental and DIY pressings. Unlike traditional pressed vinyl, this album was produced as a lathe cut, a process typically associated with very small runs and artisan manufacture, giving the record a distinctive character and adding to its collectible appeal. The album presents thirteen tracks of raw, atmospheric material that sits comfortably within the underground and alternative sphere, reflecting the projects independent ethos.
