Good Times is Elvis Presley’s 20th studio album, recorded across two sessions at the legendary Stax Studios in Memphis during 1973 and originally released in 1974. Drawing largely from the December sessions, the album reflects a late-period Elvis focused on soul-inflected country, reflective balladry and restrained groove. Highlights such as “I’ve Got a Thing About You Baby”, “My Boy”, “Spanish Eyes”, “Loving Arms” and “She Wears My Ring” underline the warmth and maturity of these recordings, with the former becoming a major Country chart hit.
