Originally released in 1974 and reaching No.1 on the Country charts, the album features Presley’s Grammy-winning performance of “How Great Thou Art”, captured during a triumphant hometown concert. This reissue adds remarkable depth with a previously unreleased full test-run performance recorded days earlier at the Richmond Coliseum, offering rare insight into the dynamics of Elvis’ live preparations. Also included are five intimate 1974 rehearsal recordings, three previously unreleased, cut at RCA Studios in Hollywood and intended as reference material for an upcoming Las Vegas engagement.
