GRUFF RHYS Sadness Sets Me Free (Dinked Edition 2024 UK/EU limited edition pressed on Gold Honeycomb Neo-Neapolitan Vinyl – Recorded in an 19th-century house on the outskirts of Paris, Gruff and his road-hardened group tracked ‘Sadness Sets Me Free’ in just three days. Backing vocals were added along the way by Kate Stables from This Is The Kit along with additional strings and orchestration and it was mixed between Marseille and Cardiff. Whatfinally emerged from these intense bouts of cross-continental activity was Gruff’s most accomplished and beautiful record to date; including the singles Celestial Candyfloss and Bad Friend. Gold foil numbered split-door picture sleeve with printed lyric inner. Includes a single sided etched 7″ vinyl, as well as an Autographed art print. Complete with resealable poly outer bag with hype-stickers. The sleeve shows minimal wear and both discs are in Near Mint condition. Limited to only 1500 copies)
