While established stars Four Tops & Martha Reeves & the Vandellas were struggling with the company’s evolution, new kids the Jackson 5 continued their hot streak, knocking a couple of ballads [‘Never Can Say Goodbye’ & ‘Maybe Tomorrow’] out the park. Presented in card picture sleeves & housed in deluxe packaging resembling a scaled-down 78-rpm-era ‘album’ complete with a 148-page booklet containing rare photos & track-by-track annotations. Includes a bonus wide-centred vinyl 7″ replica for the classic Marvin Gaye single ‘What’s Going On’ backed with ‘God Is Love’. The sleeve/case shows some light storagewear and some foxing to the inside, whilst the 7″ shows light signs of play, remaining Excellent condition and the discs shows no signs of play; remaining Near Mint.
