VAN MORRISON Astral Weeks (2008 US exclusive limited edition 8-track LP pressed on HQ-180 180gram VIRGIN VINYL at RTI, mastered from the original analog master tapes. Originally released in 1968, this remains not only Morrison’smasterpiece, but one of the greatest records ever made. A haunting, deeply personal collection of impressionistic folk-styled epics recorded by an all-star jazz backing unit, its poetic complexity earned critical raves but made only a minimal commercial impact at the time of its release, although it has since achieved ‘must have’ status. The high quality picture sleeve reproduces the original album artwork. The sleeve shows light wear whilst the vinyl is a lovely Near Mint R11768)
