THE DURUTTI COLUMN The Return Of The Durutti Column (Very rare limited edition 1980 UK Factory Records 9-track LP on regular black vinyl, housed in a handmade sandpaper sleeve. This idea was inspired by Situationist Guy Debord’s book ‘Mmoires’, which was housed in a sandpapercover to destroy other books on the shelf! These sandpaper sleeves were assembled by members of Joy Division, A Certain Ratio & others on the Factory roster [it’s reported while Ian Curtis did the glueing, theother members of JoyDivision watched a porn movie in the same room!]. The sandpaper sleeve shows just a bit of rippling on the opening edge with otherwise minimal wear, the vinyl is in Excellent condition showing just a few minor cosemtic blemishes, which upon a test play on our in-house system – had very little, if any impact on play.
