A hugely collectable UK first issue of UFO 2: Flying, the second studio album from UFO, capturing the band at a pivotal moment before their later hard rockreinvention. Released in 1971, this album is steeped in swirling space rock, heavy psychedelia and extended instrumental exploration, firmly rooted in the underground scene of the early 70s.Unlike the concise, riff-driven sound UFO would laterperfect, UFO 2 isdominated by long-form jams and cosmic atmospheres. Tracks such as Flying and Star Storm stretch out with hypnotic repetition, phased guitars and Hawkwind-esque momentum, while Prince Kajuku delivers an almost trance-like groove built for late-night listening.
