WHITESNAKE Box ‘O’ Snakes (Mammoth 2011 UK/EU ELEVEN DISC Box Set, comprising all of the music Whitesnake released on the Sunburst label between 1978 & ’82 across Nine Audio CDs, One DVD & a 7″ White Vinyl EP. New remasters overseen by David Coverdale for the five studio albums are here as well as two previously unreleased live albums recorded for the BBC at the 1979 & ’80 UK Reading Rock Festivals. Also included is a DVD featuring ten rare press clips, four BBC TV performances, a previously unreleased US live show filmed in 1980 on the Ready An’ Willing Tour, & a replica 7″ ‘Snakebite EP’ of the very first release from Whitesnake, faithfully reproduced on Heavyweight White Vinyl. All this is topped off with a large colour poster & an exclusive 90-page hardback book featuring a 10,000 word interview with David Coverdale & Bernie Marsden plus many previously unpublished photos & memorabilia from Bernie’s personal collection. All housed in a deluxe 12″ x 3″ deep ‘flight case’ style box with spot lacquered design & contents sheet pasted on the back, the packaging shows minimal wear & all contents are Near Mint SNAKEBOX1)
